I recently just picked up golf and am having a good time learning it. But as you wrote in your blog, it can get expensive. Other resources I found useful were the golf how-to videos from those video sites like YouTube. Not all of them are gems but there are some good ones out there. Also, I cruise through garage sales and craigslist for starter clubs. Since I don't know how much I'm going to get into the sport, I found that buying a used set will save me some dough just in case I decide to give it up.
