		<description>It really took me a while to appreciate the deeper meaning behind such a simple tip.

When I reread Little Red Book in preparation for my recent review, it was one of the gems that stood out.  Mostly because in the years I have been practicing that way (since my first reading of the book), I&#039;ve come to realize the benefit.

I think there&#039;s benefit to the idea even if it&#039;s only done during certain practice sessions or during a fraction of each session.</description>

I took that Penick tip to heart long ago.  I do nearly all of my short game practice with a single ball.  Hit the shot; make the putt.  To go a step further, switch up the shot type each time.  First hit a fly and release shot, then hit a hop and stop chip, and then the flop.  Of course putt out after each attempt.

Yes, it takes more time.  Yes, it&#039;s very much like what get in a round.

There are times when I will hit several balls when working on the shot game.  Like when I&#039;m working on one of those specific shot types.
