That is great! I am the guy who regularly attempts RIDICULOUS shots. I'll say things like, "I'm going to hit a high fade up and around that tree stand and then run it up the green between the front and left side bunkers." And it always end badly! I also used to joke that the crazy shots from under trees and bushes are those that the 20+ handicapper can do better than the pros - because they're always trying them. :) Great article - the key take away is about setting expectations - I agree wholeheartedly... That is great! I am the guy who regularly attempts RIDICULOUS shots. I’ll say things like, “I’m going to hit a high fade up and around that tree stand and then run it up the green between the front and left side bunkers.” And it always end badly!

I also used to joke that the crazy shots from under trees and bushes are those that the 20+ handicapper can do better than the pros – because they’re always trying them. :)
